Aalto Scientific, Ltd was founded in 1979 in San Marcos, California to serve the needs of in vitro diagnostic reagent developers and manufacturers throughout the world. Aalto scientists pioneered the commercial purification of the HUMAN cardiac antigens, Creatine Kinase MM, MB and BB. The availability of these antigens enabled our customers to develop the first polyclonal, antibody-based assays to diagnose myocardial infarction.
The proliferation of EIA reagents created the need for other human antigens, as well as stable quality control materials, manufactured with HUMAN sera and HUMAN proteins. In a natural progression of our existing technology, Aalto has become one of the leading OEM/Private label suppliers of quality control sera.
Today, Aalto Scientific, Ltd owns and operates it's own R&D and Manufacturing facility overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Carlsbad, CA, USA.
