SERVICES
CogState provides products and services to 5 distinct but complementary markets:
CogState ClinicalTrials
CogState ClinicalTrials is a total service rather than just a product. The provision of cognitive testing software to multinational pharmaceutical companies is backed up by scientific consulting services, 24-hour technical support and end-to-end project management. CogState's unique DataPoint® technology allows its customers to view clinical trial data in real time - something that has been unheard of previously in this market. Major customers include: Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, and Merck.
CogState Academic
CogState Academic is an academic version of the CogState ClinicalTrials software. With the same proven rapidity, sensitivity and validity, this software provides academic researchers with a powerful method of testing cognition at a competitive price.
CogState Sport
CogState Sport is an invaluable computerised tool for the management of concussed professional and amateur athletes. After a player is concussed, CogState Sport allows team management and physicians to monitor the athlete's cognitive abilities against a baseline reading that was taken prior to injury. Due to its sensitivity, this software can detect even the mildest of cognitive impairments that other methods of concussion management are unable to identify. Customers include: FIFA, UK Rugby Football League, teams in The Australian Football League and South African Rugby.
CogState Health
CogState Health is used mainly by physicians to detect any cognitive declines in patients that may be concerned about memory loss. It allows the detection of very early symptoms that are common in diseases such as Dementia and Alzheimer's, giving patients and doctors the opportunity to start treatment as early as possible.
CogState WorkPlace
CogState WorkPlace allows employers to comprehensively measure if their employees are fit for duty when it comes to their ability to think and act. Taking only around 8 minutes to complete, it has been proven to be sensitive to the effects of alcohol, fatigue and certain types of drugs. This method of testing is significantly less invasive than existing methods of drug and alcohol testing and therefore can be used as a less invasive step within an OH&S system.
Due to its growth, CogState is rapidly expanding its operations - especially in North America, having recently opened a new office in New Haven, Connecticut. Encouraged by the rapid acceptance of its products and services, CogState is poised to further establish itself in its core market and to also expand into others.
